Justus Naude: Chairperson
Justus is the Senior Manager: Advisory Services. He holds a number of qualifications, including a BCompt (Hons) CTE from Unisa, a BComm (ACC) degree from the University of Pretoria. He started his career in the South African gold mines. He also has more than 11 years finance experience in both the public and the private sectors in the Office of the Auditor-General, at Coopers & Lybrand and at KPMG.

Primesh Bhana represented by Wendy Mahuma
Primesh has a BCompt (Hons)and has worked in both the private and public sector.

Tumelo Baleni
Tumelo has recently completed his MBA and is currently Senior Manager (Director): Supply Chain Management at the Department of Health: Free State. Prior to joining the Department of Health he was employed by the Department of Finance: Free State.

Suresh Bhikha
Suresh has a BComm and has held various finance and accounting positions in both the public and private sectors. He was one of the first seven people admitted to 'Tier 1' membership of IPFA in 2002, and was elected to the Institute for Public Finance and Auditing (IPFA) Council in the same year. Suresh currently holds a senior financial position at the National Prosecuting Authority.

Suresh Galahitiyawa
Suresh holds a BCompt and is currently the Senior Manager Financial accounting Services at the Department of Agriculture in the Eastern Cape. He has worked in both the public and private sector.

Jan Hattingh
Jan currently occupies the position of Chief Director: Provincial Budget Analysis in the Intergovernmental Relations Division in the National Treasury. He has almost 16 years financial experience in a South African public sector environment. Prior to joining government, he worked in the private sector (Standard Bank) for almost nine years. Jan has extensive experience in Budgeting and Financial Management and was part of the 'PFMA Implementation Team' prior to the enactment of this piece of legislation into law. Jan holds a Higher Diploma in Cost Accounting and is a member of various other professional bodies. Jan served as IPFA Chairperson from 2002 to 2004 and was then requested to remain in the capacity of Acting Chairperson until the following AGM in 2005.

Brian Kgomo
Brian has a BComm, a Management Diploma and is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). He is currently Head: Ethics at the South African Revenue Services (SARS). Prior to joining SARS, he was Manager: Compliance at the Gauteng Gambling Board. Brian has also worked extensively in the private sector and is an independent member of the SITA Audit Committee as well as the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Josephine Meyer

Vusi Menzelwa
Vusi holds a BComm and is currently the Chief Financial Officer at the Department if Agriculture in Bisho. Prior to joining the Department of Agriculture he gained his work experience from the National Prosecution Authority and Eskom.

Freeman Nomvalo represented by Nols du Pleassis
Freeman is the Deputy Director-General: Accountant-General, a position he has occupied since February 2004. He holds many qualifications, which include a BCompt (Hons) degree from Unisa. He has a vast range of experience totaling more than 16 years in both the private and public sector.

Dorothee Snyman
Dorothee is currenlty studying towards her MTech (Business Adminsitration) and has a BTech (Business Administration), National Diploma Government Finance and National Diploma Cost and Management Accounting. She is currently Chief Director: Financial Planning and Monitoring at the Department of Social Development. Prior to joining the Department of Social Development she was Principal Financial Officer at National Treasury(previously Department of State Expenditure).

Marthinus Siebert

Mpho Mofokeng

Mpho currently occupies the position of Chief Financial Officer at South Africa Social Security Agency and has completed a B Tech at the Witwatersrand Technikon. He is currently studying towards his M Tech at Technikon SA.
Mpho has vast expierience in different Goverment Departments.

Thuledu Khumalo

Thuledu holds many qualifications which include a MBA, a National Diploma in Goverment Finance and an Advance Certificate in Applied Management. Over the years Thuledu gained a lot of experience in various goverment departments such as the KwaZulu Natal Goverment, KZN Legislature, National Treasury, and National Department of
Correctional Services.

Suebel Mmono

Suebel is currently busy with his final year in Internal Audit (National Diploma) at Unisa. He started his career as an Audit Clerk at the department of Auditor General and has progressed to Deputy Director for the Provincial Department of Transport, Roads & Community Services.

Wanda Beukman

Wanda is currently an Associate Director at KPMG and holds a Honors in BCOM Accounting. Wanda has gained a lot of
expierience at KPMG starting as and Audit trainee working her way to Associate Director. Prior to her career at KPMg Wanda held positions such as Financial Manager and Chief Financial Officer at the Agricultural Research Council.
